Your not wrong about new leathers and tarmac.................. i  had a new 2 piece ........... tripped over and fell out the front door "first scuff" , was gutted,

Then sat on my VFR  at the time for a pose while the missus took some photos..........low and behold   the side stand folded and on the floor i went bike on

top of me, " 2nd scuff"  she pissed herself  and so did the neighbour .......they did lift the bike off my leg when paused laughing.

i was so fooked off i went in, put the leathers away and watched tv, 4 days later she was still laughin.

Aye, but from the sounds of it, your knee will closely be followed by yer arse, then yer elbows, then yer shoulders

easiest way is a medium size roundabout thats clear of grit and deisel and just creep on the power in second slowely while hanging off... though its no as satisfying as the high speed kneedown but if you see the state of my left slider not sure it should be scraped in so many directions
