Evening all, hope all is well.
I've not been on here in a long time, so thought I would reintroduce myself. I used to have a 2004 ZX10R in blue, absolutely loved it, quite possibly best bike I have ever owned. Unfortunately my bike ended up being turned into coke cans, courtesy of a ford KA, new tyres, new brake pads and a brembo master cylinder.
Since then I have been on various bikes, triumph sprint, hayabusa, 2014 Z1000SX, finally I have found my way back to the ZX10R. Purchased a 2008 model a few weeks ago, and absolutely love it! Even if it was completely standard. Since buying it I have fitted a black widow de cat pipe and also a delkevic slash cut exhaust, sounds so much better.
Finally, anyone had any dealings with Portman Kawasaki in Guildford? That's where I bought the bike from, and to be honest I will never go back. Customer service was appalling, paid cash for the bike but took them over a week to get it ready to pick it up. Was told it would be ready at 1200, picked it up at 1615, after being stood there for 1 hr 30!! Got home and found 3 issues with the bike, like a fairing bolt done up so tight it had gone through the fairing and out the other side. Some rubber hanging down on the left side of the engine, bike will be going back to get this sorted. Also some damage to the left side of the bike that wasn't advertised, and I'm positive I didn't see on the initial inspection. Anyway look forward to catching up with everyone.
