 Holy crap, taller gearing, braver man than me.  That is going to one tall first gear and one hell of a top speed.

Mint, I did wonder.  I prefer drag racing that is why I am going with the lower gearing, looking for 150ish in the quarter.  Best of luck with the quest for 200mph, hope you make it

B&C,s suppliers don't do larger than 17 standard tooth front sprockets so my search continues or i need a  smaller length chain as well!

I'm not completely surprised you're struggling to get sprockets in the sizes you want. Unless you are very lucky and find a sprocket from another make and model of bike that fits you might have to get some made up by an engineering firm. They could use the OE ZX10R sprockets as templates and change the number of teeth to your specification. Getting a chain to fit is the easy bit. :icon_thumleft:

Get to a friendly Kwack dealer - almost all of them use the same PCD's, pitch, etc.
Output shafts are the same size - Z1000 is a 16T so drops straight on.
Have a chat with them to see if any are 18, 19T, etc

Ter speaking with some more suppliers it is thought that there is. Not enough clearance on the ZX10R for a. Larger front sprocket, this I can't verify until I get home tonight!
