My 2009 ZX10R
« on: May 29, 2013, 07:05:09 PM »

I havent really introduced myself on here as such so thought i`d take the opportunity to rama  couple pics up... Had my 10 since new and its been used for a few different reasons but now its been turned into my racebike to compete in the Scottish Clubmans Superbike Championship  :icon_thumright:

I had my first meeting a couple weeks, first time racing and had 2x 1st`s and 2x 2nd`s (in my class) and set a new clubmans lap record at Knockhill 52.6, with this i decided to spend some money on decent suspension and bought a Maxton GP10 rear shock, im hoping this makes a difference which hopefully it should. Next round is next weekend 8/9 June @ Knockhill

Welcome from a fellow Scot  :headbang:

As a matter of interest, were you running stock suspension before you got the Maxton?

Almost, the front is stock and the rear was revalved and resprung by ktech (the shock is for sale in the for sale section). A couple sponsors chipped in for the shock after my results.

The fairings are pro fiber, not the cheap ones but the British made ones?  Spot on fitment and they're genuinely good quality compared to a lot of others.
