The thing that gets me is that crash bungs and brake upgrades command a higher premium!! Surely you would've thought it would reduce the premium as it makes the bike safer....  :icon_scratch:

Hmmm, maybe some of them are just like solicitors - thieving gits! :pottytrain2:

Ms Nash couldn't get anywhere near the MCE quote and lost my business after 8 years.
I have listed all the mods to my bike and MCE are happy with them at no extra cost.
As mentioned above I shall apply for a new quote when renewal notice appears.
Caveat etc.

Yeah MCE are great unless you want to cancel a policy half way through. All paid up front, cancelled the insurance after 6 months, did all the paperwork, no refund turned up so I call them after no reply to multiple emails - "Its broker policy to withhold premium refunds for 90 days". Told them it was my policy to expect to have oustanding money owed to me coughed up immediately. Probably in the small print and to deter people who know their policy is gonna imminently be claimed against getting their cash back from the insurer first, but not once did they say either of those as a reason.
I'd insure with them again but only if I was 100% sure I wasn't going to cancel a policy.

I read about this in pb magazine it said you declare your mods and you'll be covered but if anything happens they will only put your bike back to standard spec? And will not replace the aftermarket parts?
