Its a scary world, can't wait to move to my own little hideaway.

Not if you know the rules and I think a lot of people here have their eyes wide open. Disgusting, perhaps depressing, not scary.

A contributing factor is most peoples ignorance, aversion to risk and selfishness. They only want to worry about themselves, live in their own little bubble of a world they've made for themselves and look out for #1. If you're lucky they'll give a shit about the wider picture and even though the eco-warriors may be misguided sometimes at least they give a monkeys about the issues bigger than themselves and ain't the lemmings they 'supposed' to be.

Given most of the population can't handle it if their newspaper doesn't turn up in the morning (and a lot of them don't have much more than that to worry about anyway in our over-sanitised society), all the greed, ignorance and apathy doesn't surprise me in the least.

Don't blame you wanting to distance yourself from the madness.

I can't help but agree with 10RDan. The world is over populated already. The UK is over populated yet our previous and current Governments encourage breeding like it is a neccesity or God given right. Some would say I live a selfish lifestyle, cars, bikes, do what I like when I like, single man with disposable income......Actually I pay alot of tax to support alot of can't work, won't work types that wouldn't put themselves out to do a days work let alone put themselves in the line of fire. I don't understand why Government pays so much in child benefit, supports teenage single mothers who breed to obtain flats to entertain chav boyfriends and further breed with various other chav boyfriends who commit acts of anti social behaviour on route to and from their unemployed Harems that are wiping cum away from their snatches between claiming their benefits and complaining they have to walk to the shops themselves to buy their fags that they can't really afford on their benefits that they are "entitled to" whilst watching Jeremy Kyle on their oversized flat screen TV in their tax payer sponsored accomodation that they are too lazy to keep clean........  These people drain our society of resources from our NHS, schools, legal system AND by their mere presence on the face of the Earth polute it as they go along with their meaningless lives. We should actually put a tax on children to discourage people from having them. This way scrotes wouldn't endlessly breed and burden our society with an inverted pyramid of scum and only those who really wanted children for the right reasons would have them. Would this exclude the poor from having families? Yes it would, if you can't afford to bring a child up why should someone else pay for you to do it. If you can't afford something in a shop you don't buy it, (forementioned scum nick it of course), so where the idea of "right to breed even though I can't support it" comes from I don't know. We wasted money on educating these cretins to make them aware of family planning issues. Sick of supporting them and sick of them stealing the worlds oxygen and poluting it. I'm sure lots of people will disagree with me. We have thousands of children needing adoption  yet we spend millions on getting couples that can't have children to have them, it seems utterly selfish and obscene to me, (good friends of mine went through IVF) but I just can't see it when there are needy children on the shelf already. My worst crime seems to be burning a bit of petrol chasing a bit of adrenaline, petrol that I have paid tax on that goes onto support chav.......I rest my case and stand by to be accused of being a Chinese dictator, Orsen Wells etc, etc. We can't go on with this dole out society and we need to address our population issues. After all, we don't want our favourite bit of road over crowding do we????? Step down from soap box. Sick of it. :icon_puke_r:

Pointless rant aside, if there is no reversal of our failing systems, no stopping of our endless handouts to those who could work if they bothered themselves, (should, heaven forbid the job market pick up to allow the genuine thousands who are looking for work to earn an honest living, I count my blessings), and we rid ourselves of the shockingly selfish attitude our society has developed, we are in trouble as a nation. I grew up in a council house, my mum still lives in a council house, having money doesn't make you a good person, doesn't define you as a person and I know plenty of tossers with money. Its not about the money, sounds like a song..... Money doesn't place buy you in our class system and it doesn't make you a lesser person if you have none. As a nation though we need rich people who own companies and encourage jobs and growth. Those who scorn the rich, wake up, they feed the capitalist society that the younger TOWIE generation seem to crave. Seriously we need to grip the welfare system (pleased to see we are ending aid to India, lots of poverty no doubt but they are also a space programmed, nuclear armed country, charity begins at home..) and we need to be heartless and practical about reducing population both nationally and internationally - planet earth can only sustain so many of us and whilst we have starving and orphaned kids, why are we making more. So I am actually of sound mind.....don't like scroungers but do support a system to look after the genuine needy once we have helped ourselves first. Hard work should be rewarded and the hand outs need to stop.

 :iamwithstupid:  well said that man.

This country has been progressively 'dumbed down' year on year and the problem will only continue to get worse unless drastic measures are taken soon. The trouble is nobody in power will ever have the balls to take such measures.

Well.... my original post re."saving the environment" certainly got people fired up. Can't disagree with anything that has been said in any of the posts, re. robbosliding and over population in UK and handouts, totaly agree. There is another option to control UK population, which the people in a position to do it are shit sacred to do, is reduce or stop immigration. Far to controversial to talk about. (sarcasm)

:iamwithstupid:... Problem with immigration in my opinion is that the government initially saw nice big handouts from Europe for taking in immigrants, but clearly the handouts don't cover long term costs. Let's not forget initial immigration started with British companies (London buses to begin with) seeking workers from abroad... The problem is not the immigrants, but the system in place which allows the infrastructure to be overloaded.

& like Robbo said, the amount of wasters sat on their arses expecting to be looked after. Though the biggest crooks are the banks, and I still cannot believe that they have gotten away with dropping the western world into this financial depression which equals the great depression of old.

As Jester said 'a contributing factor is most peoples ignorance' - many people don't want to rock the boat, they would rather sit & read their Daily Mail, believe the problems are due to whatever headline they write on that day, and continue their lives wearing blinkers. :cussing:

As for population control.... if enough idiots continue munching McD's & GMO foods, sitting on their arses hypnotised by Jeremy Kyle, Pop Idol & such shite then they will all end up infertile & jobs a good un..... here's hoping anyway.

I don't get too excited over the immigration side of things though it needs seriously gripping. I find most groups coming into the UK actually want to work in most cases and want to take advantage of the great opportunities our Great Nation offers. That's called working and our DSS dependent lazy shits should take note. There are of course exemptions on both sides of that coin. I find that our  current society is socially engineered and would have us believe that certain groups are socially acceptable when they not, represent them as a minority groups who are misunderstood, make out they have a traditional background and not the thieving burgling shits that they actually are that draw huge amounts of resources and contribute nothing to society. My biggest bug bear is the ever increasing amount of benefit dependent families with an outright belief it is their "right" to claim as much money as possible from the State and do absolutely nothing for it and have absolutely no intent of ever working, meanwhile heavily load schools, housing, NHS etc etc and moan like fuck that they are hard done too. They are disgusting scum that are only fit for weapons testing or similar. Bit extreme probably but they really piss me off. My answer is to remove the benefits, if they commit crime jail them, use community service to build more prisons and bring back corporal punishment. Never use  to agree with Nation Service, why would we in the services want the scum? But it may just be the thing to instill some structure and pride that they need. And please, please, please sack this human rights shit, once you are proven guilty you should have no rights at all, prison should be misery, somewhere no one wants to go back too. Our county should be a fair, safe place to live that looks after the vulnerable and ostracises the lazy c8@ts that we carry at massive expence to us all. We need to rearrange our order of society and make this country somewhere British people want to live and not feel like second class citizens if they dare to speak out against a politically correct minority. The first party that dare do this WITHOUT an extremist background or motive will wipe the floor with the electorate.

Totally agree. It's not the immigrants fault there are so many "aloud in", it's the government/system. Having worked, almost, constantly for over 40 yrs, on the one or two occasions I've had to "hold my hand out" the number of hoops you have to jump through is fuckin ridiculously and in the end can't be fucked. UK born or not, doesn't matter, those mother fuckers that sit there spongeing off the system really "hack me off". AND they're robbing everyone that is a genuine tax payer.

Rant over.  [wall]

Quite. Isn't it strange (should read disgraceful) how a politician - who might potentially be in a position to send out our salt of the earth troops to war can make a "mistake" or "misjudgement" involving large sums of money, through a lengthy and deliberate claims procedure (undertaken by an educated & informed person) resulting in personal gain and not be prosecuted. If I were to make a minor error, say for example claiming a days motor mileage when I got a lift to work as a one off, I'd be hung and out of a job under the guises of fraud. Of course I'm not a Lord with friends on boards or who are Directors, sleeping partners, Masons or MP associates that can ask questions on veranders and vote on the side in a companies interests or award contracts. Sounds like something from a Bourne Conspiracy movie doesn't it? It is no better than the Chinese Communist kangaroo circus that is being reported upon currently, it is corrupt to the core and an utter disgrace, it is criminal and those found abusing the system PARTICULARLY at the top who are in places of privilage should be handed the highest sentences and face instant dismissal when found guilty - not resign and be reinstated elsewhere. It is disgusting what is going on in this country at the moment, absolutely disgusting.

......and my manifesto would include, I quote,

"Those undertaking Community Service for their crimes will sweep dry wet trackday circuits for the benefit of the respective trackday rider and will recieve 10 lashes of the whip upon their bare buttocks if oil spillages are not cleared within 60 seconds of occurence".

I like to think that I usually talk alot of sense, thanks for the support Jester, BHP to you!!!
