Nice work  :icon_thumleft:

Did the LH bar being shorter cause any  problems with locating the switchgear and throttle assembly without pushing the brake assembly too close to the forks ?

Did you measure for the holes from the bar end or the clamp?

I have been thinking of this myself  :-S

No probs with the bars at all and to be honest I didn't measure I just fitted them loosely and marked their position.
If you do go ahead with it I'd suggest going for a quick ride with the switch gear holes not drilled to make sure your happy with the position of the switches. for some reason they don't feel quite as natural once your hands are in a different position particularly the right hand side one. I might need to move that one again  :emb:

The test ride today went very well in fact they feel much more natural than before and make fast direction changes easier. Its all down what's comfy for each person though. They work for me and that's the main thing.
Sure is noisy though after I've been riding my other bike

next things on the shopping list power commander and a double bubble screen cos your head is up higher with the bars like this.

Well done with this write up. Very informative. I think it's the 1 main issue with this model.

Top drawer mate ;)
