off to usa in jan doing the family disney thing can't wait to meet buzz lightyear love him because he's green  :icon_thumright: while iam over there i am going to buy some rear sets and some pazzo levers why because they are loads cheaper ive heard its best to post them home instead of bringing them home in my suitcase is this true  :dontknow: and wot ever else i see in the shop

no don't post them home cause if you do then you might get the customs tax thing bring them back take them out of the packets and bin the reciept and if you get asked anything you took them with you from home  :icon_thumright:

you have to pay tax like G said but if you buy them over there and post them with no receipts and price them low on the postage ticket you might save a few bob   :icon_thumright:

akco My brother bought 4 pairs of trainers brought them back in a clear box didn't have to pay an ounce of tax....

don't worry... just do as I said you won't need the reciept anyway if they break you can exactly take them back  [rofl] [rofl]

Part of my job is shipping kit between our head office in USA Tenessee and UK. Best way is to put them in  your suitcase. If youget nabbed just say you went for a race meeting and you used your buddies bike but took your stuff over with, just bin all packaging and receipts. Also put tehm in the middle of case with lots of clothes around for padding as cases can get quite squashed.
