In the gym, weights and weights machines are where its at, you get a full on workout while retaininig muscle mass. Although I'm going to have to start running as I'm planning on entering Tough Mudder next year.
Running is bad for your joints, don't do it!  :icon_thumleft:

I also swim, currently my PB is 80 lengths in about 52 mins. I normally do about 60 in 40 mins on average.

Also climb indoors once a week and have started slacklining  too.  Though its tough to fit everything in!

:iamwithstupid: Weights.... try & get 3 visits a week.. burns loads of calories, means I can still enjoy me tabs, and keeps the gut at bay.

Been a hobbiest bodybuilder for 9 years now weight has fluctuated the biggest I was was 16 stone

I am currently at about 14 stone 5

I do a split program either 4 or 5 days a week

biggest Bench to date was 190kg but I only have the 180kg on camera

biggest leg press 600kg

I have been trying to get back into it but I go through stages .... but the other week I managed a 160 kg bench

but was proud to do 180kg Deadlift to 6 reps on my 5th set

when I was at my biggest I basically warmed up with a plat a side 60kg

and then used to go up a plate and down 2 reps

so 60kg for 12 reps
100kg 10
140kg 8
180kg for 4 to 6 reps mainly only getting 4
the 190kg was for 1 and a half reps I couldn't push it up on the second rep haha

They have one fitted in my local gym, but if they didn't, I would probably get one and fix it in the garage. Its a very professional bit of kit although if you were strapped, you could probably rig something up with a pair of tie downs  :-S
