So, high time to finish her off!
Completed the Akra, got the end cap in, drilled and riveted it in, shattered 2 drill bits and covered the can in blood, which I have discovered is really hard to clean off, even with Autosol!
Replaced the right-hand footpeg hanger (was cracked at the brake lever mount, MOT advisory), rear brake reservoir and hose and bled it all in. (No pics, boring!)
Fitted a 2010 ZX6R front radial MC (regretted my previous decision of not fitting one, purely for bling factor but the improvement is epic), also fitted Pazzo shorty clutch and brake levers and a 1/5th Riflemans quick action throttle insert:
Then swapped the Sato Racing exhaust over for the shortened Akra:
Just waiting for the new Akra sticker to turn up now
Unfortunately the weather then turned, literally as I was packing my tools up, and started to pour down, so I haven't had a chance to properly test the new MC and the throttle insert
