So, anyone alive?
« on: April 01, 2012, 07:46:46 PM »

Well folks, the weather has been blistering, racing on telly, it's now April and the biking season is pretty much opening it's eyes.
Life on here is a bit pedestrian at the mo',  surely stuff has been going on, ie:- preparing bikes, 1st rides of the year etc etc......
So lets have it, what you been doing? What you planning and have you been lucky enough to get out on the bike?
It is a motorcycle forum after-all right?

Me? I've been wallowing in self pity about the RSV4 being nowhere ready and doing aload of CBT's and tutoring some advanced training..

Over to you lot.  :icon_salut:

Myself I've been out for a few little rides im pleased to say the bike is now exacly how I want it handling wise the ohlins rear shock has really proven to be a worth while investment very happy with it and the re map althought at the mo only a dyno jet map its proving its worth as well. the bike is currently in for some new tyres and it's first ever MOT.

I'm already coming up with a long list of mods for this winter and its getting more and more expensive every day  [rofl] the bike is also getting a new home as well the other half has given permission for a new shed

The 06/07 is for poofs. Its ridden side saddle and looks like a wheelbarrow. The 04/05 is for real men with balls of steel and it is fueled by the very fires of hell!

Got out yesterday to the wirral egg run, great weather and good fun. As someone mentioned Wales before may I totally recommend heading to Ruthin and taking the B5105, this road was created by God! stay on it till the A5 then turn right and take the B4407 on the left towards ysbyty ifan.  :icon_thumright:

Strangely enough after my battery died on the bike last year after 13mths I booked it into Lloyd Coopers for it's second service on Friday and asked them to check the charging system. The day after I got a recall letter from Kwack UK about a charging system fault....happy days. Anyway I'll be back out on Friday and the 20th May it's Santander and the Pyrennees for 12 days...beautiful. Oh and inbetween the Kwack day at the Ace Cafe if it isn't snowing !!!
