Thanks for + comments, hopefully I'll get to fit this one  as the last one I did ended up being sold to paulj on here.  . . . . . unsure on wheel colour though, white maybe?? Opinions wanted plz !

The swing arm looks RUDE!  :glasses9:

I like the idea of white wheels, but a bugger to keep clean!

dont think white wheels look rite with green, just my 2p wirth.
think you can only go with black or green on a green bike, or go nutts and have them crome !

I like the Sheene'esque dual colours ........a white front and blue rear would look good with a touch of blue on the bike of course   :icon_thumright:

Well a bit more done, cleaned up the casting marks on the subframe ,removed the exhaust heatshield mounting points before powder coating and got the shock off to powder the spring, stupid anti-tamper bolts on ECU slowed me slightly but at least the disc bolts on the front wheel came out with no drama. Still undecided on wheel colour though . . . . .

i got my zx10 the end of last year and couldnt quite get on with the riding position (probably my age and my guts) [rofl]
so ive ditched the fairing and sorting it out to be like a z1000, wolf in sheeps clothing.
also had a great deal on it but it was in silver so now its back to the proper colour of green and black [clap]
anyway its my bike and i will do wot i want to it :icon_thumleft:

Bits back from triple s and another great job by Simms platers with the BZP.Sorted out the flaky paint on the back of engine and gave it a lick of primer, owned a Z1000J in 1981 and the engine paint flaked off that too . . . . .
