went out this morn on my 05 zx6r, first real chance to try it out after selling my 05 10r, and rsv 1000 factory.

very impressed, ok not as fast as a 10r as i seem to run out of gears faster.
handling wise it is a match 'if' not better than my old 05 10r. both have ( had ) standard
dialed in suspension. the zx6r feels slightly lighter and glancing at my mid corner speeds i am faster by 5 to 7 mph. I actauly feel like i should of got a zx6r 6 yrs ago now instead of the 10r. the bike just fits me better. I am a short arse so thats probably why.
I am no riding god by any means but its nice to be able to be in charge of the bike and ride it, rather than just holding on and steering ( zx10r )

I'm lucky, I have an '09 ZX6R and a '08 ZX10R. The 6 is a very good handling bike for sure. My 10 is my track bike which is great at Donington but a handful at Cadwell. The 6 is brilliant at Cadwell and so much more useable on the road than the 10. They are both brilliant bikes though I wouldn't fancy going to the south of france or similar on the 6. They have their own pro's and cons but both are great bikes.

I've got an '05 ZX6R and an '07 ZX10R, and the ZX6R has a hugely optimistic speedo, so you are probably the same speed through the corners.  Riding alongside cars in slow traffic you can sometimes see their speedo, and mine reads about 10% fast on standard gearing.  When I do 70 on the motorway I'm the slowest thing on the road, I must gps it to see just how bad it is.  The ZX6R is a lot more usable for fun though, the ten needs to be doing silly speeds for the same level of excitement.
