Steering damper

Finally got round to sticking a steering damper on my zx10 05 plate what a difference has removed a lot of the vibration from the naff old roads we have well worth the money   :headbang:

Ive had a steering damper on mine since i first had it. One time i was overtaking a car hard, and somehow the damper worked loose and popped off. Had a big old tank slapper and proceeded to have the worst ride  home ever, hated it. Goes to show how much better it is with a damper.

I'm gonna get one for mine. I tried the one off my 7r the other day as it looked right. The bolt holes for the tank were about 5mm out and the stem was about 1mm too narrow.
I could have made it fit if I was never going to put it back on the 7r.

What year you got? Got a gold sprint for an 05 that just needs a service as its stuck...

75 to your door mate, like i said, it'll need a service to sort it which is about 60 i think.

Is it stuck due to being bent from an accident or similar or has it just packed in?

No not been in an accident, just stopped being able to adjust it, it works fine where it is and is perfectly ridable with it, just the adjuster thats stuck.
