WARNING: Small rant about driving(ers)
« on: March 16, 2011, 10:30:03 PM »

Good Evening,

Ive just driven the short journey home from my girlfriends, She lives at J23 and I live at J25 of the M1 so not far at all.. However, every time i do this journey i witness the most idiot and retarded driving possible.

Im a white van man, but a decent one and theres a few things that ive learnt.

1) The middle lane is for normal everyday driving on a motorway with not much traffic, as being on the inside lane must have an invisible wall built up, stopping people using it.

2) Theres a Articulated lorry in front of you and your doing 70. Obviously your going to come up to it soon, but ill wait untill i can read the "made in taiwan" sticker on the bumper before i pull out

3) there was a mist about a fortnight ago, so ill leave my front and rear foglights on just incase there will be one again..... In the next 20 years.

4) As well as driving in the middle lane, i must do so at 50mph and then flash like f*** at the van that overtook me becuase he uses the motorway correctly..

5) When i leave the motorway at my designated junction, i shall slow down to 40 before the slip road, leave immidiatley and then decide i want the right hand lane..

And as if this wasnt enough, i actually saw a guy reverse 50 ft backwards from the Northbound on ramp back onto the island.. I thought that only happened in "Police camer action"

Anyway.. I feel much better now.. Need some bike time i think!!

Thanks for your time.

Think you forgot the...

An acceleration lane leading onto a motorway is actually for accelerating and not driving at 40mph, causing everyone else in the nearside lane to slow down to 40 to let you in, thus causing a concertina affect that goes back for fooking miles because of the twat to start with

Actually, went down to see family in Bournemouth in the car on Monday, for a change as needed to give it a run and had 3 yes '3' front bottoms nearly kill me.

Pulling out of junctions having seen me coming and knowing that couldn't make it so I had to brake heavily to avoid T boning them, should have just hit them, would have been a nice claim but suicidal  :tongue3:, and 2 nearside roundabouter's wanting to go right!!

FFS, what the fook has happened to driving standards  [wall]

The driving standards are declining but they say there making the tests more difficult. No offence meant, but the majority of people who sit constantly in the middle lane are young female drivers. I think they think its safer.

Havning ridden bikes for a long time i think it makes you more aware of what goes off. Looking twice, three times or more, but it seems everyones in such a rush also! Business men in new BMW's always trying to get one car ahead.

GET UP EARLIER!!!!

I could go on all night! haha!

On German autobahns if the coppers follow somebody more than 2km and they dont pull in to the "slow lane" when they could have they get done for it!
One I really hate is when youre overtaking something dawdling along and the fookers speed up!
two hats!
A really good one that on single carriageways
