Kick Stand Switch

Every time I put my 05 ZX-10 in gear, it cuts off as if the kick stand was still down. While the bike is on the stand and I put it in gear the rear wheel will roll.  Could this just be the kickstand switch.?

if you have it on a paddock stand and start the bike ..then the rear wheel will rotate slowly .

there's a switch on the clutch leaver and on the side stand . give them both a squirt of WD40 and work them in and out a bit ...see if that helps sometimes they get shit in them
and stick on ...
