Don't want to put you off but a friend of mine bought one and hated it so much he only managed to put about 700 miles on it, just a few of the problems he had were, unreliable, top heavy, very dodgy build quality, side panels falling off whilst riding, rear wheel bearing failling and grease running into rear caliper so no brake when he needed it!, airbox parts falling apart and super slack throttle cables making it almost unrideable.....not what you expect from a new bike at that price and supposed exotica.......still looks nice

I agree that you only live once so why not give it a go  . My mate had the F4rr 312 1078, maybe it was a Friday afternoon one....still it put him off the marque totally. Maybe it could be compared to a highly strung race horse ...you have to live with some of it's faults

come on fella's, biking is all about the thrill and individuality, good for you to chose a bike that looks bloody lovely (not as nice as my 10, granted) and will make you smile everytime that you look at it

It's a different ride to a 10R and there's a whole world of different bikes out there to enjoy afterall 

The 10's are the best though, but we all know that

mind u i cant talk cos id prob get rid of the 10 if a nice ducati 1198 came up at reasonable money!!!

Go for it mate, like you said you only live once, i had a look at my local dealer when they reduced the price considerably looked the mutts nuts.
