hi, as instructed by the sticky im saying hello in here first, been bikeless for the last two years after selling the GSXR1000 and have given in again to needing two wheels, once the festive period is done ill be on the look out for a gen1 10r to satisfiy the needs,

my last kwak was a KR1 a long time ago, since then ive had a good mix of yam and a few gsxr,s

anyway hi everyone..

thanks for the welcome guys, really liking the gen3 but cant stretch to one of those so a gen1 it is,  just got to decide on which colour then get looking in the new year

its a tough decision thats taking alot of time trawling the net looking at pics which drives the misses mental , till she likes the occasional bike and says thats nice usually followed by some blah about shoes .

did see a matt black one that looked cool, though if its a kwak it should really be green,

nice.. any known issues i need to look out for, i was told to check frame spars for cracks but dont know if this is scare stories or a known problem.

let's be 100% clear though, it has to be black !  green is for kermit

things to look out for ;
- a good history as they are 6years old now
- the frames can crack in an accident or harsh use, it's along the welds, try a search on here for some pics
- brakes were a bit crap and go for a 2005 C2H with the red 'R' on the tail as they were better than the C1H

so far local to me ive found 3 green and one blue.. good job im not planning to get it till march time unless i find one i cant pass up.

have been warned by the misses today that while i finish up the xmas shopping this week as she is at work if a zx appears at home im in the shed with it ,, and we got snow
