Bar Vibration
« on: October 30, 2010, 11:31:21 PM »

Hi I don't know if any one can help me .
I own a ZX10R C1 and I suffer from vibration on the right hand bar at 5000 to 6000 rpm I have put heavyer bar ends on and stuffed the bar with as much led as I could get in But too no avail.
I seem to remember reading some where that some of the early 10s had a problem with the washers in the clutch which lead to the bikes suffering from vibration.
Any help will be greatfully received.

I'm afraid I don't have hte answer but it seens to have continued as the modela have evolved. My '06 bike was the same, affected at slightly lower revs but very irritating and numbing for fingers on the right hand and I can even feel a vibration though much less prevalent on my '08 bike. The only answer I can give (this is what I did) just rev it harder and it goes away!

Usually a softer set of grips and some decent bar ends will help ease the vibration  :icon_thumright:
