Jonah i am already on the case, I am going to be sending the local council a full rundown of what happened along with Pictures and repair quotes etc. if nothing happens I am going to take legal action against them to cover the cost etc.

Apart from the off the bike is brilliant to ride sooooooooo comfy!

I am good thanks Andy my thigh is bright purple at the moment

Cheers

good to hear that you are only bruised and not broken pal  :icon_thumright:

i guess that must have been a large pothole  ,

i assume that you have pics of it taken with a tape to show the dimensions as they will be there filling it to avoid you being able to chase them for a claim

I sure have Andy, its about a 12 inches wide and around 3.5 inches deep. I had to pull up fairly sharpish and hit the damn hole usually I avoid that hole like the plauge but had no choice but to hit it this time,. :pottytrain2:

Hi Roy my luck at the moment is blooming shite, the pothole I hit was 20inches by 18'' wide big fooker. I had a car that had jammed his anchors on in front of me! so I had no choice but to brake, its in at triumph getting fixed all photos and stinking letter ready to be sent to birmingham council in th morning!

I don't expect much back to be honest but if they just repair the hole would be a start. loads of accidents at this junction as well!

I am ok

Cheers

take photos of the hole and evidence of bike damage

Get hold of the appropriate forms from the County Court to file a claim

write to the council and inform them of your intention to claim if they dont compensate you for the damage

if youre getting nowhere then file a claim, youve nothing to lose but the court fee which wont be a lot compared to the damage costs

Its easy to do and you can do it yourself  ;-)
