My new Growler 2
« on: August 29, 2010, 10:22:59 AM »

Big Phil has built this beauty and its sodding raining, What do you lot think?  I like it personally and it sounds mint. Obviously its the stubby version thou, Its a preview of what might be coming in the near future.  Watch out for Growler 2s :headbang:

Looks really cool  how does the sound compare to a slash cut? which look great but sound a tad too offensive

Personally I think slash cuts have a dirty sound, this is loud but still has a slightly muffled touch to it

Thats just a very short reverse megafone silencer - nothing more.
BSA and Triumph were using them 40yrs ago.

Whats with you racefit hatters on here!! come on guys they are in the business of making custom exhausts  which is what they do well, if you lot can do better I suggest you go into the business of making exhausts! we are all part of the same big biking family, all you guys are doing is pissing of the owner/s of new racefit exhausts.  I appreciate that everybody has there own opinion but at times your opinions are best left in your head.

Take it easy and have a beer! it is the bank holiday after  :icon_thumright:all

Nothing to do with being a "hater" Waz, but you need to remember they have done nothing "new" really and its been said on here more than once.
Copied Rossi's M1 for the Growler, made a more triangular version of the Yoshi for the Mega, copied the Akra GP for the Screamer and made an offcut from the bin into the Slash.
Its good that they have a new end piece now but there is nothing unique about it.
Check out "Winter Changes" for the 1st underbelly - and its on an 06.
I know Phil and John - but they need to stop copying and come up with their own stuff for once.

not being a hater at all

am all up for people making a business and being sucsessful with it

but the comment horse made, made me chuckle, its just a short version of the first design, with a link pipe, hardly "alot of work" in my mind is all  :icon_thumright:
