I am a DIY nightmare I reckon
« on: April 09, 2007, 10:46:00 PM »

Well after
project 1. the bathroom I've now managed to get

project 2. a 9x7 shed and connect it to my 8x6 and it looks good, I'm having a load of fun cutting drilling and stuff

Project 3 is me thinking about removing the small wall at the front ( I remove the bushes a while back that were there) and replacing it with a 'homemade' sandstone one, now this could be fun as I've found around 5 tons of sandstone localy for a good price......... Also, everyone now says that they miss my house due to the bushes not being there so a 'different' wall sounds like a good idea

Think I need my bumps feeling  [rofl] [rofl]

looking like 3-4tons hopefully, moved 3 trailer loads tonight which was approx 80 blocks of various sizes and there must be I guess another 120 to move, this is a bloody big job.. The 80 will probably make a half decent wall at the front of the house [whistle]

looks like we will be having a few sandstone walls around the place  [rofl] [rofl]

What a bloody bargain  :icon_thumright:

well, I've now got all the stones and fekk me it's a lot and has almost killed me.......... now it's time to start thinking about how to make a wall  [whistle] [whistle]  in the pic it doesn't look a lot but when you consider it's around 7 car/trialer loads and when you look at it it's a huge amount

anyhow, shed went up ok last week, just need to make a small piece to fit between the sheds where the felt joins and I'm done there  :icon_thumright:

got to collect around 50 flagstones from my brother to sorrt the paving to it and it's done then  :occasion14:
