Guys, can anyone recommend a reliable and reasonable outfit in Gosport that can oull a dent form my fuel tank and respary it for me - I'm only after standard ninja green and gloss for a 6R J1 (2000)?

There's the guys down old quay road just before the Viaduct at Fareham that are very good, otherwise try any of the dent guys that do cars.

Cheers for that Hammy. I know of them and the guys by Gosport Asda, but I'll look into car dent guys in the area as well. Just got some new Dunlop Road Smarts on the bike. I was a little nervous I had some bad experiences on D207s in the past, but they were considerably cheaper than Michelin Road Powers which were the only other option as they had no stock of BT014s. Wow, how impressed am I! I scrubbed them in on the way back from Plymouth, just in time for the twisty part of the coast route and the feedback was amazing. I was quite cagey to begin with but after a few confidence boosting attempts round some corners I started to push the bike further over. No issues at any point, massive grip throughout and my confidence in Dunlops fully restored (plus chicken strips are already less than an inch!)

depends where the dent is i suppose though,isn't the kwaker decal laquered into the paint,so makes spraying nr it tricky.

No, the Kwaker decal is added on, though it may be under the laquer. I will have to source a replacement decal for each side of the tank.

A lot depends on where it is as Scooby says - I've got several dents out with some "carefull" tweaking with the cap off and the fuel pump out.

It's same level as the decal just to the rear of it. About an inch in diameter. One of the Marine Engineers from work has looked at it and doesn't seem to think it would be a problem, though would be happy for a decent fill job on it if it was.
