I'd be asking for a loan bike as it is their problem and you shouldn't be victimised because of it. I would also be talking to Consumer Direct/Trading Standards just to keep everything square...

i asked numerous times for a courtesy bike which they do have them but they said no, i have spoke to consumer direct/cab and they are aware of the situation

did you ask why?

did you mention that "if it was your fault the nike had to go back to be resprayed then fair enough no bike is acceptable, but the fact the bike has poor quality work and requires to be returned for re-work by DM then why should you be penalised?"

Bond, mate that's bloody awful for you. If that's KTM's attitude you should be getting your money back. That's customer service of the worst kind, and I'm glad you've posted the story up here, so we can all give both KTM and DM a wide berth in the future.

Have you thought about contacting the head honcho at KTM? Sometimes a kick up the arse from the big boss is all that's required for the dealer - I'm sure KTM do not want this kind of customer experience to be broadcast over the internet.

What's the point of being a CEO if you don't hear about things like this. They obviously have a company-wide quality and customer service issue and they need to address it quick smart.

Thats a shit situation Bond mate. Here's an off the wall suggestion for ya. If DM wanna take 4 weeks to rectify their shoddy work, how about suggesting they foot the bill for a loaner as compensation for shite workmanship and inconvienience to you as the customer. Ya never know, they may agree to it just to keep you sweet and stop any bad publicity.

as the chumps at the dealer to replace them then as its a warrenty re-work causing damage to extras fitted
