WHAT I USED AND DID TO COMPLETE THE CONVERSION

MV swing arm (From the link you guys gave me)
Ducati 998 wheel, chain and eccentric hub
New Z1000 shock (Looking for a better one)
Machined my own off set top shock mount

It took many hours/weeks to get everything spot on till i was 100% happy

The changes that I needed to make
1. Machined a 7mm spacer for the L/H side front spindle, this pushed the swing arm to its MAX travel to the right hand side.
2. Moved the rear wheel over by 1.5mm with an alloy spacer inserted behind the 998 wheel studs
3. Went down to a 520 chain and made spacer to suit the front sprocket shaft
4. Lazar tracked up and everything is running true

Basicaly thats all i needed to do, No mods to the frame, bolt in bolt out job really

If someone was to offer me a P/X and really good money for this conversion I would think about.

The challenge is complete and now I am boarded!!!!! Think I need to buy another RD350LC

I like the look of that, it blends nicely together ,sometimes people add single siders and they can look a right lash up but you've done a great job :icon_thumright:
Does it handle any different to standard?

Last update.
Took the bike for a MOT and the guy did not botice the swingarm intill i told him after he said it passed.

Clocked up 150 miles A & B roads went out with a mate on is cbr1000rr (Both fast riders)

The bike felt really good even  better in the bends, Might be because i have jacked it up 10mm of the shock. It's Just as good as the O/E set up if not better.
Put it this way i will not be changing the rear Z1000 shock.
PROJECT SWINGARM COMPLETE

Excellent, great job.....looks like a factory bike, not a badly done conversion like some end up.  I think the RVF style exhaust will be the way to go,  re-fab it to exit the other side to keep the off-side clean.....or maybe a slash-cut down by the fairing.  I think it would be worth the work in the long term........

Well done, looks ace.
