I was lucky I guess I got mine cheap on ebay .... andy has the same one always done me ok... the best thing about it is that I don't notice it there , though I only wind it on 4 to 6 clicks think it has 24  :icon_scratch:

 :dontknow:

Whats this all about then lads? He has got a GPR damper thats got a leak and hes getting it fixed by GPR at their expense.

Ive always heard they have very good customer service and they service for life for free anyway.

The Ohlins that are fitted standard on 06/07 ZX10R's were reported faulty when they first came out,it can happen to anything but it dont mean they are shit.

Scaremongers

not a scare tactic would rather now if summit went wrong  :dontknow: then I would avoid it....

I personally wouldn't go for something that has a problem regardless of it being fixed at there expense ... you maybe right if they have good customer service...

But I am a stop believe of prevention and not fixing something after it broke  :icon_thumright:

To be honest have found no need too, still working fine! if you think about it doesn't get much use especially for you in Canada.....................all those long straight roads. Remember my countless trips from Medicine Hat to Calgary!

i've used a gpr for 2 years without any probs at all,but have heard a lot of scary strories about piston type dampers seizing for various reasons, anything can go wrong at some point, and as it say's on the thread they are fixing it so cant see the problem
(well apart from the leaky damper [whistle]) :icon_thumright:
