i read mcn only for the latest bike news and racing news.other than that they are a shower of shit how can they go from testing harleys to weighing up the best 1000cc bikes in the world in one fail swoop.the only reason they didn't like the zx10r is because they haven't got the balls to ride like it should be f in hard

All the bike reviews are going the same way it would seem, BMW have made a jap bike and put loads of electronics on it, so many in fact I wonder if it actually needs someone to sit on it to make it go....................Think I will stick with my ten, I have traction control, its my right hand and a feel for what the bike is doing!!!!

Ignore these testers, they really are not in the real world in my opinion.

Don't know about the rest of the riders but Jeremy Mcwilliams was one of the riders and I think he knows how to ride a bike just a little bit

yeah granted there where some shit hot riders there and i totally agree about jeremy mcwilliams.but like ya man said one minute the r1 is the best thing since slice bread and then its complete dogshit.i think mcn just say wat the manufacturers want to hear so they all get latest bikes to ride for free for a year

Nah Andy,the 10R is plenty for anyone on the road and track regardless whether its "outdated" or not!!......so is any modern 600.

As far as i can tell, all the litre bikes are within a gnats cock of each other. Just choose the one you like the look of best.

i agree just read the test, fine on a sunny track but for gods sake what the hell does 3 0r 4 mph top end difference realy mean in the real world, or tenths of a second etc........worth a few more grand? i dont think so. anyway when the new ten comes out next year and blows away the beemer then perhaps mcn will t hen again agree the best sports bikes are from japan after all..... despite what they are now spouting.......lol
