Hi Guys

Just been looking on www.carbonmods.co.uk quite a good site they sell mainly carbon parts for cars but they sell sheets of carbon at reasonable prices if your into making your own bits & bobs etc

I always thought you needed an autoclave to cure carbon fibre, is room temperature curing ok for non-stressed parts?

I think the sheets come ready made Doug (ie already layered up etc). Bit like you would buy a sheet of ally for instance.
You can then cut out any (flat) shape you want.

I was thinking about trying this for part covering my tank as it's a bit scratched and I didn't want a sticky pad thing on there.

Think plenty of practice with fiberglass first though as it's always not quite as easy as it looks...
