Went out for about an hour, bloody cold though, lots of debris on the roads where the tarmac has broken up, like riding on marbles  :-/

You're not kiddig!  Had two 'moments' surfing on a ridge of gravel in the middle of the lane  :shock:  Like you say - shite from the dodgy pot hole patches  :mad:

I managed an hour on Saturday wind chill was -25 at 60MPH... God knows what it was at the national MPH limit   :tongue3:

Needless to say I was wearing my summer gear  [rofl]

I remember when I ride in winter in summer gloves [rofl] my hands was completely frozen,and  I used to use my exhaust to warm up my hands never again am going to ride in summer gloves in winter [rofl] [rofl]

Top of my shopping list is a new 2 piece thermal base layer any one recomend one EDZ any good for example...

I would recommend the EDZ inner shell, packs up real small.  The best bit of kit i got for cold weather riding is my R1200RT  :lol:
