First ride of the year ( on the ten that is )

well couldnt take it any more, the last couple of days have been bright sunny and dry here and ive been in two minds about taking the bike out , u no how it goes , its all cleaned and hooked up to the charger  just waiting to be used, but there is the road conditions to think about , salt , grit, slippy etc.
well woke up this morning and thought fuck it i aint putting it off any longer ( i couldnt i was like a junkie needing his fix every part of me screaming DO  IT DO IT DO IT ) and boy so glad i did.
No plod about quiet roads and for the most part pretty good  , only done 80mls or so but man im still grining and the ten as always delivers what ever you ask of it , i hope i never get used to just how great the bike is and keep getting that feeling of amazement and excitement every time i take the ten out.
Bike is now all clean again and waiting for the next time its wheeled out to play ( probably tmrw if the weather is the same ) :lol:

Nice one Kinny, I would get out on my but my alarm is playing up and the remote just won't arm and disable the damn thing got it booked into the dealers to fix!  :pottytrain2:

Thats a bumer mate,  it's a real pain when the alarm takes on a mind of its own , still better to have one than not i suppose although it seems this is mainly for the insurance twats , cos the thieving gypo's will get it regardless of what precautions we take .
Mine has only std alarm , if it gets nicked thats what i pay ins for, having said that bike / car theft aint much of a prob were i live thankfully, still take precautions though as i would be gutted to get up one morning and my ten was gone !

I went out on my first ride of the year yesterday too... was bl^^dy freezin.  :shock:... also noticed that its really bad up here with pot holes.... im takin it is due to us having such mad weather conditions over the winter... heres hopein they get them repaired ASAP as the weather will be heatin up soon and all the bikes will be bak out on the road.

Took mine out the other day dry roads etc..felt exactly the same as you kinny, wow it felt great! :headbang:....but its snowing heavily today so do'nt when that next ride will be :crybaby2:

Heavy frost overnight here  minus 5 this morning  luvly day again but roads to dodgy still frost on some of the bits the sun aint getting to in mid afternoon so no bike out the day  :crybaby2:

Went out on sat for first ride of the year to try out new suit and boots, very cold but the 10 was great.

ps not sure the white boots go well in the winter.

i feel bad now, everyone not wanting to take there bikes out till better weather my new steed got thrashed out on the road straight away!! rid through shit and everything spose i better wash her to make her feel better lol

Its flippin frustrating waiting for a nice day. I gave in on monday and had a great ride.............Untill i got caught in the biggest snow ever, i thought i was in "the day after tomorrow" for a while.  Bike got minging and i had to pull over as i couldnt see lol.  But I made it out and it was ace !!! :headbang: (bike all clean again).

Have just done me oil change ready for the spring which is probably just around the corner.  Still trying to get the salt from the bolts and things, even toomkk the rear wheel and belly pan out to give it a better clean yesterday.   Cant bloody wait!!!  Hope to get a couple of track days sorted this year, I like the look of the new Silverstone set up....

Well weather  was ok up here in sunny scotland today so i took the 10 out for a blast with the new racefit slash cut exhaust fitted , i still got that daft grin on my face when i think about it . The sound of that exhaust is awesome but kinda just makes you want to race lol  :shock:
