managed to blagg a test ride in the local daler last year, it was an 07  f4 312. awsome bike and sounds like nothing else. but the running costs was enough to put
me off let alone if i dropped..   but at least i can say ive ridden one. :headbang:

Had a new 1000s for 18 months, 6 of which were spend waiting for parts after the rear wheel bearing failed in the IOM. The bike was nice to ride fast and look at but was crap at everything else, after letting me down time after time it went for the zx10r.

The MV is a bike you should dream about and not own.

Ps the exhausts burns your nuts.  :emb:

Wot was the ride like?? twitchy? smooth? was most of the power at the top end??  Kinda knew they were expensive to maintain but if u got the dosh then why not i guess.

Your a lucky guy that someone else came off.. altho maybe they werent so lucky.... im over to the IOM this year :-P... will be the first as the past 8 years ive been goin to the NW200 and couldnt get more time off work as its so near that date... gonna take the bike round the island and see if its as good as they say...cheers for the info on the MV, maybe itll help someone else out..
