I've just committed to buying an 04 zx10r and with any luck it should be arriving on a transporter on Monday.

I've come from a Ducati but have always had a soft spot for Kawasaki's, probably because I had a 6r as my first bike,  In fact, I bought a zx7r that needed some TLC a few months ago so need to get that finished off too then decide whether I'm keeping it.

Anyway - sounds like a very active and friendly forum so look forward to contributing, and hopefully meeting people out on the track!

Thank you! I must admit, I'm really looking forward to the first dry day.

Moving from a 748sps twin (about 115bhp at the crank) to the  inline 4 zx10r (which was dyno'd at 163 at the wheels) will be interesting to say the least.

I suspect I'll be nancying around for quite a while!

I'm planning on getting down to snetterton as much as I can and ride with a friend from norwich - your neck of the woods so may see you around!

A great choice of bike :hello2: Ive just got an 04 at the start of January and it scares the sh?t out of me   [rofl]   Ive just had the suspension set upto my weight and riding style at peak performance motorcycles and it handles like its on rails now, I cant tell you how much of a difference it makes. Enjoy the bike I am  [clap]

Doing my first ever trackday at Cadwell with some mates in April and will get a couple in at Snet sometime after that I would think, so yeah we may well get to meet up there.

Will probably be there quite a bit watching the racing also, BSB etc and got a friend doing his first year bemsee powerbikes so thats going to be good.

I think I'm doing my first in March but am planning to rack up as many as I can next year - probably on the 7r to start off with.
