Any aprillia experts here???
« on: December 30, 2009, 06:56:29 PM »

im trying to find out what spec ohlins forks the 2006 RSV-R comes with.

Are they just a basic ohlins fork or are they the same as the R+T forks that come from harris.

I know they have 100mm caliper spacing but im not worried about that,

Cheers

Liam I had an 04 RSV factory which I used in the last few rounds of the Aprilia challenge, and I'm pretty sure the forks are the same ones that later went on the standard rsv, if so the answer is they are basic ohlins forks, not as good as R&T, which in turn arent as good as putting 25mm ohlins kit in. They can be revalved relatively easily though, try Paul at RSV.net he used to know every thing regarding the Aprilias

The 02 RSV R I used before that had the ohlins forks but with 25mm ohlins cartridges fitted and they were way better.
