As much as I like the new 2010 Z1000 I'm put off by the ridiculously small tank size, holding just 15 litres compared to the 09's 18.5 ltr.

I suppose it will depend on how economical it is, they may both have the same tank range if the new one has better mpg.

Haven't been reading many bike mags lately, however, I've always fancied a Z1000, Just wish I could have both.......Can always come back to the sports world if you're not happy.

true but that would have to be some seriously good mpg figures from the 2010 to make up for nearly a gallon of fuel less.

I'm also waiting for a ride on the new one, i think it looks great and love the Metallic Chestnut
Brown (sorry the last bits a joke).

not sure i would part ex my 08 10r for a Z1000 which will be dated very soon but thats just me.

Wait for the new model by all reports seems as though this is the bike it should have always been? not so sure of the mad colour schemes :icon_scratch: would have looked better in plain one colour thats what Kwak do best MCN did an artists impression of it earlier in the year in white and it looked ace :icon_thumright: Could be the bike that tempts away a few sports bike riders though .    hyabusa47 thats a great lookin bike like it :icon_thumright:
