You guys with the bike cleaning fetishes are welcome to come down this way and spend half a day on bike for free, that's right, I won't even charge you.

Damn it I'll even through in a cuppa and a digestive.


I bought it to ride it, it gets a clean once a quarter, most of the rest of the time it's a bucket of water, hose then a cloth to dry it quickly once a month.

Hate cleaning the bike because it always takes chunks outa me, how do I manage to find every sharp exposed edge on the thing?? Unfortunately I feel guilty if I don't take the fairing of every couple months and clean inside and I do like to be on a shiny bike whenever possible - well one of us has to look good and it aint gonna be me, scuse me I must go ring the bells..

are you serious on this    sort of shocked that you don't want to clean your own bike...... I would let someone valet the car but the bikes my baby and gets cleaned only by me, guess I might have a problem with wanting to clean my own

don't buy a bike to clean it I want to ride it... you don't have to take a car apart to clean it but you do with a bike..... I end up losing thing or round of bolts and shit like that rather get it done properly whats wrong with that

ok but I don't take mine apart to clean it, in winter I might take panels off but through riding time it gets a good wash and wheels cleaned with degreaser and I just eyeball all the fairing fasteners and stuff to make sure it's all in order, no big deal for me really maybe 30 mins a week ok maybe an hour tops.....

.... guess as I've always done it and with having an off roader again on that little bugger everything has to be checked/oiled etc and gearbox oil changed regular so it's just a natural thing for me.

wouldn't know where to start with that andy matey... tyre pressure and chain lube is about my limit 

I change my 636 can and then had to take that back because the fecker keep coming loose 

I am not saying I don't clean it I do in 3 weeks I have done it at least once a week but... I can see shit getting in places that I would wanna get to

right just so peeps know I lock this topic not because I am a moody fecker but becasue it was a question asking if anyone knew of bike valet's

all I got was I clean my bike myself so thought it was going no where.... thanks for advise on how to clean it myself think I will take daves advice ... feck the thing and just enjoy riding it....
