Well Roy i have to admit you where verry close to completing the whole sentence.

@ Andy J :P ill look up some picture's of your rim's soon ;)

Mijn naam is ralph uit holland en ik moet toegeven dat er best veel raare mensen zijn op dit forum, wel hele gezellige moet ik toegeven

my name is Ralph from Holland and i have to admit that there are manny strange people on this forum, they are quite pleasant company though.

raare = strange but also can mean wierd.  And if you see the word raare then you can also think he typed rare witch means that there is not manny of that thing or product. Ok what am i doing ? am i trying to teach you or something ? :P noo just pointing out that some words if you keep translating them back and forward you keep getting other words. i dont know what the word is for this  "synonyms" i think they are called.

Met a guy at the TT once , actualy in the next shower cubicle(stop sniggering at the back) talking to his mate in the broadest Yorkshire accent...so asked where he was from, being a proud Yorkshireman ..as you do and he said he was Dutch I didn't believe him until he started talking to me in Dutch! . Seems people from the continent find it reasonably easy to pick up not only the language but our regional dialects and phrases in a reletevely short time.  As for us that do try when we go abroad there is the slight self conciousness of sounding silly or wrong. I always try to give it a go, but once went on big bike trip around Europe with a mate who would start any conversation no matter which country with "Oi mate". then speak as if he was in his local pub. It's no wonder were not thought of too highly abroad in the tourist stakes . :emb:

"Ah crayshee football yes, shmoke and a pancke."  See i can speak cloggy  :)

Japanese also  "kawasaki, suzuki, honda"

Seriously though as has been said we don't really need too as most of the rest of the world learns english as a second language (especially the americans lol) . I lived in Saudi for 10 years and know about 15 words of Arabic, mostly obscenities lol.

well...... i can (sort of) speak and write english, i know few words in french, russian and of course polish

but ur absolutely right, most of english people cant speak any other languages, maybe they dont need to, maybe dont want to but the fact is they cant.  Not being rude or offensive to anyone , maybe i just meet wrong kind of people but it looks like they cant. But from the other side before i came over here (UK) in my opinion i had to know the tongue. im not saying i can speak and write correct ( Elizabethan ) english but i should and i try to  improve it all the time. Only english can tell if im doing well or not.
