Not bad, not keen on the headlight though, but looks quite good without the fairings

Cheers mate

TBH, I reckon the Kwak water cooled fully faired bikes never quite look right with the plastic off, there just seems to be too many bits of piping & ancillaries etc.  around the engine that were  just stuck on where they fitted best on the basis that it didn't matter as it'd look OK once covered up.

Each to his own though, so best of luck & feel free to post up your  results on here to prove me wrong!  :tongue3:

I think the one above looks great, has a  very 'factory built' look to it.

Thats because the headlight, radiator shrouds and waterpipe are all from a Z1000.

So why bother?

I've not had the 10 apart yet properly, but on the 9R's (C mainly but E possibly F and B) the RAM air could be sorted by having the RAM air tubes put into the air box, so the inlets (now the direct frame holes and plastic inlet tubes) would let just as much air in and then the RAM air feed pipes were just fed from then on.

HP wise they didn't loose any power, maybe 2-3bhp compared to full fairing.

Did take a bit of work thought.
