Does this border on abuse?
« on: October 30, 2009, 05:44:10 PM »

Bloody hell fellas, take 5 mins to look at the stuff this kid does.  Personally I don't think it's right, however, the kids got massive potential/strength/ability.

Disturbing yes but is it any worse than pushy mums and pony club brats or dads that take kids football WAY too seriously?

If he keeps going at that rate I reckon he'll be dead in his 40's cos his heart will be fucked prematurely.

Kids shouldnt have 6 packs and biceps like arnie  [naughty]

that little fella could kick all are butts all the way to the gym...............hehe

rite or wrong,,,,,,, well at least he isnt spending his time kicking windows in and knicking are bikes,,,,like a lot of other kids his age,,,,,,,as for kids doing this sort of thing you will tend to find that if the kid dont like it he won`t do it,,,,,,,,and it won`t be long before he is making lots of dollar from all his hard work.......Hats of to the young fella.................. :icon_thumright:

Yes. Abuse. Pure and simple.

There is a wealth of peer-review scientific research evidence to confirm a link between heavy resistance training at an early age and disease and disability as an adult. Heart disease (childrens hearts are not sufficiently developed to cope with the enormous pressure increases associated with heavy lifting on a regular basis), arthritis, reduced growth patterns and other disease associated with hormonal changes predicated by lifting.

His parents wouldn't give him cigarettes cause he'll develop respiratory disease/cancer in later life, why do this?

They're living their empty lives through their child. Anyway, gotta go - I'm spending the rest of the morning showing my one month old daughter how to hit a tennis ball.

Daddy's retirement won't fund itself, darling.

i'm all for kids being fit healthy and active ( less playstation etc ).

however he has been pushed to this by the look of it, also his body is still developing
and growing. it could well cause him permanent harm and damage.

abuse, yes imo.

Difficult - kids will stop if they don't want to do it to a point but some will keep going to please.
Fi tlittle fecker though.
Worse is the beauty pagents/talent shows/etc - now that is abuse when they are pushed, pulled, dressed up.
