I did hear on R2 that Afghanistan is the centre of world opium production, although it seemed to be understood that both sides were equally keen to remove that.

Yes, the training of the Afghan army, other forces engaged, supporting the country itself, and why we are seemily more hit than other supporting nations all  need more coverage as we only seem to get one side and the continuing deaths with no visibility of the end or indeed progress towards a common goal  :-O
