I went for a nice week in spain with the missus and little one fabulous week but i t was time for me to come home ( they are staying out there for another week)
I got home saturday night jumped on skype with the missus she joked "had i checked my baby was alright"  after when finished talking i went down to tuck my baby in and saw that my workshop door was open at this point my heart almost stopped. They had pryed open the workshop door and cut through my chain and the bikes gone.  words cant express how angry i was.

2 months old under 1000 miles white zx10r i still cant belive it. What really pisses me of is that i have spent the last 2 months buying up as much spares as i could find, planning on doing a few track days. So ive not only lost my pride and joy but i have a load of parts that i have paid stupid money for that i cant use. I now cant afford to get another zx10r bloody thieving lowlife bastards ive saved up for this bike for the last 3 years working overtime. Please guys if you see a white zx10r reg number GY09 HVL  let me know straight away and maybe i can get the bastards. Police say that it was probably due to me buying loads of parts from breakers.

Niebours are useless they said they heard something but thought it was me.

The police also said that these bike are stolen to order as well we have no chance if they are that determined. The cut through my motrax chromo chain with a grinder of some sort.

guys just take extra care when buying parts make sure that your buying from a reputable dealer and alarm your garages.

quick question
did you buy something off ebay that you're now thinking is dodgy?
have you kept the sellers ID etc?
If so do not be shy of reporting your actions to the Police. Ebay will provide them with their contact details and who knows.

It has been known for a while now that this scam is running on Ebay. They sell you a part, get your address to ship it to, then a few weeks later they come and nick it.

I'm proper gutted for you pal.......

But i'd buy a 600 rather than a car. Loads of top 600's about at the mo too....

Sorry to hear you lost your P&J  :-(

It sounds to me like you may have mentioned you would be away on holiday to one of the breakers.
maybe when asking delivery time etc :icon_scratch:

think back and see if you can remember saying anything similar as it may help you find which of the Bastards did it.

(only a guess but it seems to much of a coincidence that you where away on holiday to me)

Cutting a chain in your garage is going to take a fair while and make plenty of noise too.

Thanks for your comment guys most of the breakers where up north so probably not them  and i didnt buy anything from ebay as i dont trust ebay anyways. The police seem to think after seeing the scene that this is linked to other thiefts of bikes. its probably already been split up or in another country by now. Its not the first bike i have had stolen out of the garage although this time they where alot more determined. I thought it would take a long time to cut the chain but i tried cutting a bit of it last night to to try and work out if the niebours could hear it and he didnt hear a thing. The suprising thing is that i cut through it in about 6 seconds with a die cutter . these chains arnt that strong. I rekon they knew exactly where my bike was and came well tooled up so there no real way of stopping them. No one takes notice of alarms going of well they will now.

i wont be getting another bike now as i just cant leave it in the garage and be comfortable.

Hi Pete

It took me almost an hour to cut through my mate's ABUS chain when he broke the key off in his padlock.

went through 4 die grider discs and knackered the bearing in the handpiece too.

the only way i got through it was to heat it cherry with a portapack and then use a new disc to cut it with.

Steer well clear of anything marked Motrax/BikeIt if it involves security.

I hope it turns up mate and i feel for you (my new RD500 was knicked at the NEC many years ago) chain was still locked to the lamppost and all my mates bikes where still surrounding the empty space.

as you say if they want it thay will have it (guessing mine was Hyab'd away :icon_scratch:)

To be brutally honest...that fucking sucks!  Theiving scum bag mother fuckers...

Did anybody see anything?  Neighbours?  Are they all deaf and blind?  My neighbours are great and notice if I change my pants let alone if someone tried to nick my bike.  Plus, the Alarm would wake the dead.

Hope it all gets sorted matey, and you never know. You may be able to get reinsured through the same company?!?!

Wishing you all the luck to get it sorted and hope someone finds the fuckers and tortures the bastards!  I would...take em to a barn and a saline drip for about 3 days.  I'd have me some fun.

That's crap mate, really crap.

But I'd get a 600, build that NCB back up, and by the time you've got 4 more years of NCB, you'll be older, insurance will be cheaper and you'll still be enjoying your riding.

I know it's impossible to look on the bright side of these things, but you did nothing wrong. Your bike was garaged and locked. That's all you could do to keep it safe. Everything else is lap of the gods.

Get the insurance money, buy a good second-hand bike and keep the change for trips, the family, or a second week in Spain to console yourself!

It's all you can do. Rise above the pond-life that would steal other people's posessions.

I'm sure the police have their best men working on the case...
