my 1st bike a bought had 1 of them on, think it was a wiper motor modified.
same effect, it had a green l.e.d next to the clocks when it was down,
and when ya pressed the button the red l.e.d lit up tp let ya no the plate was hidden.

The problem is when do you use them?  How many people wake up and find a note on the mat saying you were snapped by a weasel with a camera hiding in a chemical toilet just off some B road?  Yes, we've all been there.

It's ok if you fancy a bit of naughtiness and flip the plate, but in day to day use you'd need to hook it up to a detector to make it viable.  If an unmarked plod was behind you when it flipped then jailtime beckons, for conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

If a copper see's that video it wouldnt take too much detective work to find the guy and pay him a visit. Should have covered his entire reg number not just two numbers. Could get done for attempting to pervert the course of justice?

think the point is that it looks normal to you activate it!!   so if mr plod is sitting behind you they wont know the diffrence !! ( As long as  your not doing some thing stupid !!!  They wouldnt look twice )      should be good for fixed and mobile speed cameras   :tongue3:
