« on: April 23, 2009, 04:38:56 AM »

Hi to all,

Just done it, after a couple of years mulling over getting either the zx10r or the zzr1400. good deal stole it for me.
Still running in but really fab decision, so much more feedback!

Hell matey from the SW contingent.  I too went from a 9 to a 10.  Brills bikes both, 9 is a mega underated bike I reckon.

Hi & welcome  :occasion14:

I also went from an E1 to a 10R albeit an 07, bit different isn't it ?

I'm from sunny Leicester too, though have been living down in that there London for 20+ years.

Still must admit to having a soft spot for the 9R though.....

yeah a lot different to the 9. I'm tall at 6'4" but fit really well if a bit more perched lol. feels totally like a body part though! At first I realised it needed a bit more
right hand to get going but is so free revving I don't really notice it now. speed of cornering and road feel are in a different league.   I suppose in an ideal world something exactly the same
size as the 9 would have done me but the zzr1400 was just too big!
