Greetings Everyone
« on: April 22, 2009, 09:13:26 PM »

Hi Everybody.  Just joined the site and thought in keeping with the rules i'd introduce myself (ooer - that sounds a bit formal)

I started my bikeing career on a zx6r J2 and thought it was awesome as a 1st bike.  I made the mistake of trading it in for an aprilia rsvr.  It was ok but niggly little problems really made owning it a bit of a chore.

Anyway, I have said bye-bye to the twin and come back to 'the green side' and have bought a 07 plate zx10r (although its an 05 spec bike)      Its painted in Moto-gp colours and really looks the business.   I will be hunting for an aftermarket can and also a seat cowl although I have not seen one yet in gp colours.  Any reccomendations on either would be warmly recieved.  No doubt i'll be asking loads of 'nooby' questions in the coming weeks/months.

Anyway - i'm counting down the hours till monday when I pick up the new machine.

Cheers.

Hi mate yeah I had an old 6r fantastic bike. I used to swear by 750's had 3 a j1 a p2 and a k1 which was bleeding awesome. But had soooooo much fun on my old 6. Just a super fun bike. My mrs bike k8 600 is the same sort of fun with steriods and a redbull kick at the top of the range.

Cgeers for the warm welcome guys.    Just to answer a few Q's posted I live in Lincoln and I rekon some of the best biking roads in the country are only a stones throw away (which is a bonus)

Once I have purchased the seat cowl i'll pm horse to as suggested to see if he is able to help.

Cheers guys  :icon_thumright:
