fair play to be able to feel the differnece of 1 second when you race way from the traffic lights and hoon around country roads

the fact one bike is one second quicker on track means nothing when riding on the road, these articles are aimed at joe public not racers

Ditto spending over a grand gettingt a few bhp on your 10 that you can only notice on the dyno.

Nah you are missing the point. All the other bikes were roughly the same on times, and no doubt if they'd included an 08 r1 in there it would have been there or thereabouts. However the 09 was over a second faster than the next bike. I haven't seen that in a test for a very long time.

Anyway Liam, I heard you lap so fast the clock goes backwards.
