Get a valuation Liam, theres loads of companies out there that tout for business and offer no sale no fee deals.

i was thinking about just banging 24-7racebikebitz on ebay, with no dept but accounts with all the major suppliers/importers and a massive amount of contacts.

Yes, several.

So what are you selling ?

Customer return rate / year on year growth / contacts list / order book / Cash / Debt etc etc/ HMRC liabilities ?

Whats it turned over / net profit / Operating Costs ?

just thought all the contacts ect have got to be worth something, not after a lot but as im taking over another business in a few weeks thought someone might want to give me a few quid for it, if someone is keen enough it can make i nice profit not a lot but just the ebay alone brings in a couple of hundred quid a week. Could be a nice side line for someone.

Its not worth anything to anyone without hard details -- see my post above.

might just keep it as a side line, not that really bothered about it, all the accounts are clear, no dept ect its a win win situation for somebody, all he hard work is already done (get it started) all you would need to do is buy some stock which of course you would get at a trade price, and sell it on even just investing a few hundred quid on just oil filters would make a nice little profit.

just me moaning the lack of money is down to me and my habbits, the business it self generates a reasonable income and i have a good customer base, but i guess with anything in retail you do get the odd dick head, but customers come back and although theres not a massive profit in the bike trade its something i do because bikes are my passion.

but surely with you staying in the industry,I assume, you will take the contacts across with you, in effect transitioning some of the success across  :dontknow:

tbh,the simple answer is,not lot.without the info (as mark says) given.

just because a buisness has no debts, doesn't mean it's a good buisness to buy.

you really do need to info such as annual turnover,profit/loss  reports etc.....

might be  more worthwhile keeping hold of it  :icon_thumleft:
