« on: February 10, 2009, 05:42:33 PM »

no need to go into all the laws on cat b`s, we all know they cant go back on the road but would you buy one if its for a track/ race bike providing its all straight?

+ 1

Cat D or C no worries for a track bike but Cat B would have me looking for something else unless it was dirt cheap.

if its cat b you can track day it but not race it anymore, as a cat B must have the frame no removed/stamped out and you cannot race a bike with "altered frame numbers" not with the reputable clubs anyway, that should be all of them now!

definitely Bemsee and NG though, I know as my 1st zx10 was a stolen recovered and I was stopped from racing it the beginning of last year.

but no problem on trackdays, if its only track days then dont worry, bu it needs to be cheap and its worth a trip to a Jig

you say that about racing but most frames are black so if the numbers are removed you can paint over them and you cant ever tell a number was there.
They`ll only stop you racing if it looks like its been tampered with.
