Goatskin v Cow hide

I've noticed that some manufacturers make leather jeans/jackets now in goatskin. What's this like compared to cow hide for protection etc ?

Interesting about the affect of sweat on roo skin !    :shock:

After reading that, think I'll stick with me good old cow skin BKS !

ive just bought a roo skin berik one piece, and i tend to sweat like a good un in the summer!  :-(
