Well, got up early this morning to go to work as usual....where I live I have to go up a short steep hill, with a bus park and ride facility up on the brow of the hill..........

As I got up to the brow, I saw what appeared to be a bus waiting to join my road. So I did the decent thing and flashed my headlight to let him pull out.

Nothing happened, his lights remained on and he wouldn't pull out.

Now I know it was still dark, but I was sure he could see me....and then it dawned on me





I had only flashed the phone box at the top of the hill which was also lit to let it pull out, not a bloodly bus in sight
