Beware Card Cloning!
« on: December 08, 2008, 08:40:34 PM »

Hey all,

Just a quick warning if you are out and about or travelling through Central Scotchland, specifically West Lothian.

Just had my bank card cloned and it was used in Australia early this morning. Fecking crooks
Bank have cancelled card and covered any transactions that were not mine which is really fortunate, some have not been so lucky.
Plod reckon it has been done in one of the local Shell Petrol Station ATM's but I can't remember using one recently, at least in the past 2-3 weeks so I reckon it has been a cashier in a shop.

Anyway, just a wee reminder to be extra careful with what you've worked hard for,  more so at this time of year when most are spending for Christmas. Ho Ho  :icon_thumleft:

That'll be it then, I was on a Christmas night out on Friday, started in a resturaunt and then some bars.
Was too merry to remember  where I'd spent on my card.  :drunken_smilie:
Will need to check statement when it arrives.
Fecking crooks are everywhere.
