as much as I love my 10R, I have to say that this bike made me smile the most.
what a great bike with enough power and loads of fun, for me it was a great bike but just didn't work for me well not when I saw the 10r arrive on the scene.
yes it handled like a bag of potatoes but who cares
I recommend these for certain and would have another without hesitatation
I've got one of them as my daily runaround bike, just mine is the proper full on MK1 version (rather than the nancyboy MK2
) in full power black naturally !
As to which made me smile the most....
Most addictive was the ZX-6R F3 purely down to the induction roar at around 7k+ I just couldn't resist opening it up, ended up riding at silly speeds everywhere just to hear it!
Most rewarding was the KR-1S, but only if you were 100% up for it, anything less than complete full on commitment & concentration & they were a pig to ride, but when it all came together.....
For sheer madness - RG500 great sound, engine & attitude all packaged in a frame built from alloy box section frame so thin that you wouldn't be allowed to build a greenhouse out of it these days!
Best looking bike ever built & to be honest still my all-time favourite - GPz900R
But the one that made me smile the most ? Simply gotta be the TDR250, a sheer hooligan & utterly hilarious to ride.
Riding around London I'd be giggling my head off & have tears running down my cheeks at the madness of it, out of London I'd still have the tears, but that was mainly due to the most painful seat ever put onto a motorcycle, was fine for 40 mins but after that.....
